Welcome to the 4/5 Class page!

TABLE OF CONTENTS  (feel free to click to get to the spot on the page, right away):
* Introduction (you're here, already)
* Upcoming Events
* This Week's Spelling List
* This Month's Scripture Passage
* Homework (updated daily!)

Welcome back to our site! Check here for all news that may need to be communicated to the class (or the parents). This may be one of the more prominent ways to see what's happening, so be sure to check back here daily if you can.

We'll be using a variety of methods in which to communicate with both you (the parents), and you (the students).
* DOJO will be one of the quick ways for parents to communicate with me. It even has a great app for your phone!
* This WEBSITE will relay general information if you're just looking for quick confirmation
* Microsoft TEAMS is also an app that we may implement - should a major lockdown reoccur
* EMAIL is also available to send copies of work or projects that get completed at home

DOJO is an easy app to download.
Click on the picture of the little DOJO guy on the right to follow the link, and join the class if you haven't done so already.

Parents, I suggest setting up an area where your child can keep their school work organized and safe from other things that may be goin on in the house. Younger siblings, pets, and sometimes the students themselves may accidentally relocate, repurpose, or even destroy work if it's in a high-traffic area.
Setting up a location specifically for work (away from view of TVs or playing siblings if possible) will make it easier for your child to focus better.

Finally, I just want you to know that I'm aware that homework isn't always going to run smoothly. In fact, I'm sure that - in many instances, your stress level may be increased significantly. I can tell you three things:
* It doesn't have to be perfect. Nothing is perfect.
* I am simply a DOJO message / email away
* Don't stress - we'll just try our best, and take it from there

This Month's Memory Scriptures

March - only one this month

2 Peter 1:5-8

5. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

6. and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;

7. and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

8. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
